Forum Announcement: Using these forums indicates you agree to these rules.
  • This forum is private property.  Free speech is a governmental concept and irrelevant here, and therefore neither guaranteed nor prioritized over the smooth running and pleasant atmosphere of the forum.
  • All users are voluntary guests of this forum, and may be restricted or banned from this forum at the Admin's and Staff's discretion.
  • Any content posted by any user may be deleted or reformatted by the Admin or Staff.  Note: editing a user's post to misrepresent what that user said is strictly forbidden even to the Admin and Staff.
  • Civil behavior is expected and will be enforced.
  • All users are responsible for the content of their own posts while participating in discussions; other users, the Admin, and Staff are not.  "He started it" is kindergarten talk and unlikely to help you in a dispute.  Note: there is an ignore function which should be your first resort if you cannot interact productively with a particular user.
  • You may not address comments to a user you are ignoring.
  • All users are responsible for protecting their personal information, login credentials, intellectual property, and so on; the Admin and Staff are not.  We will make every reasonable effort to maintain a functional and safe environment, but at the end of the day the realities of the Internet demand you take precautions for your own security.
  • No disruption of the forum will be tolerated.  This includes spam (advertising or otherwise), trolling, posting sloppily or with inappropriate images, video, or other content, or other behavior the Admin or Staff deem disruptive to the community.
  • No illegal activity will be tolerated.
  • No attacks against persons, races, sexes, religions, or other protected groups will be tolerated.  Note that political or philosophical opinions are not protected groups but recall that civil behavior is expected.
  • Violating the intellectual property of other community members or third parties will not be tolerated.
  • There is no three-strikes policy nor other set rule for how the Admin or Staff may handle an issue on the forums; it is entirely up to their discretion.  Options include a stern talking-to, editing or deleting of a post, temporary or permanent bans, or in extreme cases, referral to law enforcement.
  • If you feel that something on the forums violates these rules, you may flag the offending post for the Admin or Staff to review and you should not share your opinions on the matter publicly.
  • If you have a disagreement regarding how any matter on the forum was handled by the Admin or Staff, you may privately and politely address the matter to the Admin once.
  • The Admin may overrule any decision made by Staff or any other user.
